What happens the day of Surgery?
Wash with anti-microbial soap. Eat lightly, take meds an hour
before. Re-check everything answer questions. Take pictures,
change into surgical garment. We scrub, mask, gown. Draw
on you for the areas of surgery. Warm betadine solution bath.
Kick back and relax. May get more medications if needed
monitor you, drape you. Numbing by tumescent technique
"to swell". Massage. Tunneling. Aspirating the fat from many
angles. Rolling over and over measuring. Stand or sit up to
evaluate results, remark, sculpt some more, repeat as
necessary. Massage areas.

When happens when Surgery is finished?
Observe, eat, drink. Wash, dry, foam, compression garment.
Will be 0oozing for 1-2 days. Wear garment continuously for
first few days. Foam off on day 5. Talk to the Dr. that night,
office staff daily. Re-check in office in 3 to 5 days after first
procedure. Change to white garment. Restart exercise. Start
vibratory-percussion and lymphatic drainage.
Re-evaluate results with the Dr. at 6 weeks and
3-6 months: pictures, body comps., measures.

Will I have to ware a Compression Garment?
Yes, Tight, but comfortable. Like spandex with zippers. Black
and white. Holds skin up against remaining fat and muscle so
it re-attaches and contracts. Helps keep tissue swelling down.
Splints damaged tissue (feels better). Worn for 2 to 10 weeks
depending on you. Can wear during any activities.

Are
there any Complications?
Under 1% (but 100% if it happens to you). Expect: tissue
edema (swelling), Bruising, stiffness and discomfort
(ache not ouch). Lax skin, mild asymmetry, fibrosis.
Occasional blood or fluid pockets to drain, insertion sites
hypo/hyper-pigment. Rare infections, anemia, scaring, skin
slough.

Limitations to Liposuction
Not a treatment for obesity. Not
a substitute for proper diet and
exercise. Fat Can re-accumulate elsewhere.
Won’t eliminate
dimpling or cellulite. Won’t tighten skin.
